For UCAN’s new website, the core goal was to be an accessible resource for individuals grappling with substance use disorder. At the same time, it also had to appeal to donors. This demanded a website that was not only informative, but also intuitive and engaging for each user group. The new site had to balance these distinct needs without compromising the user experience.
The UCAN website was crafted as a custom-designed WordPress site, integrating a variety of plugins and advanced functionalities to address the complex needs of its diverse audience. The design and development process was iterative, involving continuous collaboration with the UCAN team to ensure the site not only met the immediate requirements, but also remained a dynamic, evolving resource.
